How We Raise Funds
Money is raised in many ways; membership, collection boxes, car boot sales, bazaars, raffles, Dogs Dinners and sponsored events. An important  source of funds comes from our
Charity Dog Shop in Chlorakas Village,
opposite the Bank of Cyprus. Here, another group of willing enthusiasts give their time on six days a week to gather in bric-a-brac and second-hand clothes to sell to the public.

Funds are always needed to help pay Veterinary fees, rent, food bills, maintenance, and general running expenses. There are no paid posts at the shelter, therefore, all money raised is spent to help the dogs.

PLEASE THINK OF CAPCA WHEN MAKING YOUR WILL
Our future would be much more secure if people could manage to think of CAPCA in their will. We recently missed a bequest because, although it was the benefactor’s wish, she hadn’t updated her will properly. If you would like to make a gift to CAPCA in your will there are two ways to do so:-
The first is to specify a sum of money – a pecuniary bequest, and the second is to specify a proportion of your estate – a residuary bequest. The latter is more flexible and can change with your financial circumstances. A residuary bequest may include a proportion of your total estate, or a proportion of the remainder once certain assets have been bequeathed (to relatives etc.) If you would like to change part of an existing will, it may be possible to add a codicil, but please seek legal advice.
